OUR STORY
Family-Owned Poultry Farm
Fat Bastard Farms LLC is a home-grown pasture raised poultry company, sitting on 40 acres is Southeast Kansas. Jason and Kyli have been raising cattle for 6 years and recently started raising and butchering their our own chickens. After much research we have found pasture raised poultry not only benefits the poultry but also the environment. Our original plan was to produce enough chicken for ourselves and some of our family but in giving our chicken to family they encouraged us to investigate selling them thus started Fat Bastard Farms.
Our chickens are sold whole just like from the grocery store (without all the additives) and are oven, crockpot or stove-top ready.
Our Name
Fat Bastard Farms was a name that came to us on a personal level. We had a dog many years ago called Fat Bastard “Fatty” and he meant so much to us.
In all honesty who doesn’t want a fat bastard of a chicken?!
